🦾 Rehabilitation
Hong Kong rehabilitation physicians assess and treat functional impairments caused by stroke, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic surgery, brain injury and more, and formulate rehabilitation plans covering physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Consider the specialist qualification and affiliated rehabilitation centre.
Consultation Fee Range
Private specialist consultation fees generally range from a few hundred to over two thousand dollars, depending on the specialty, the doctor's seniority and location; follow-up visits are usually cheaper. Surgery and endoscopy are charged separately.
Note: Fees at private hospitals and clinics are subject to the latest published rates of the institution or clinic, and consultation fees may not include examination and medication charges. Public fees are effective from 1 January 2026 (source: Hospital Authority).
